Stationary stands are designed to hold a reel in an upright position. This is not to say that you cannot rotate to reel on these reel stands but it requires tools to do so. Whereas with a pivot or rotating stand there are quick knobs and levers to loosing for positioning.

Rotating reel stands are designed to rotate reel position to desired position while working and servicing reel. The rotation is 360 degrees of rotation. Great for positioning the reel so access to sides is where it needs to be.

All complete fishing reel stands are mounted on a 12” X 12” X 3/8” inch thick polymer base. These bases are in two colors, white and black.

Base, main T-slot mounting channel 12” X 1” X 1”, Stand column, angle bracket on (stationary only), Pivot assembly on(pivot stands only), reel seat, reel seat mounts, ¼-20 X ½” mounting bolts, Brass washers, Drag washer on (rotating stands only), Mounting angle 2” X 2” all column stands, end caps, and mounting bolts for base. All T-slot extrusion is aluminum. Knobs are brass or plastic. Levers are powder coated metal 14-20 X 1” threaded stud. Bolts for mounting use a 5/32 Allen wrench (not included).

Shipping requires that stands must be disassembled and packaged. This requires a small amount of re-assembly by customer when reel stand is un-packaged.

Each component has a specific function for holding mutable types of reels. Stands can hold spinning reels, casting reels, and fly reels. Stands are made strong and durable. There are medium and heavy-duty reel stands. Most stands can hold all freshwater reels. For heavy saltwater reels a more custom stand may have to be designed. (No stand on this site will be able to hold a 9 0r 12 saltwater reel). When using the stands for larger saltwater reels a locking lever on a custom stand may be needed and built for a specific need.
